Soccer great Ivor Evans has predicted Nadi to spring in its best performance during the Inter District Championship.
The prodigal son also believes the back to back grand finale losses (2013-2014) will finally get them to overcome the bad omen.
Ivor said the IDC championship is Nadi's to lose.
"They have a great core. My gut feeling is Nadi will finally dust off bad luck and win it all", he said.
Ivor who made name for being the first Fijian to land a lucrative professional football contract with the Vancouver Whitecaps of the Major League Soccer (MLS) in Canada, doesn't have a shred of a doubt about Jet-setter's desire to lift the championship title in Ba.
"Nadi off all would want it bad following consecutive IDC losses. They were so close twice but no cigars. Third time may just do it.
"They need to redeem themselves", said the Vancouver Sports Hall of Fame, a first for a Fijian football player.
Ivor said Nadi has to up its performance from the very get go against Lautoka in their opener and take it from there.
"Maintain the consistency and don't sleep at the switch".
He said the inclusion of Ben Amino Mataniqara and Napolinio Qasevakatini has certainly added the depth to the side.
Nadi hasn't had a glimpse of the IDC championship trophy in the last 13 years.
