Navua's Patrick Junior in action.Navua's Patrick Junior in action. The Naita Masters has added a team of exciting players for the new soccer season with a hope of ending their anemic run.

The inclusion could pose a legitimate threat as contenders for the 2014 Fijian Soccer League of Greater Vancouver's Masters season.

Naita has been closing up the performance gap for the last two seasons but opportunity failed them miserably.

The third place finish to table toppers Navua for the league and second placed Nadi had them sign big names in the off season.

A club insider told Sportsone that the 0-2 loss to Nadi during last years Knockout Championship grand finale has risen the sleep to revamp for the new season.

"We fell short to Nadi in the Knockout and that have us turn proactive, he said.

"It's not per say the third place league finish didn't dissappoint us. It sure did.

"For theses reasons the club pledged to end the KO heart breaker with a double championship this year".

He said Naita needs a mere nudge to neck out and claim it's very first two championships.

The insider refused to release the names of the new acquisitions but said the club is in talks with former Tavua and Rewa starlet, midfielder Ronald Chaudhary.

Chaudhary couldn't be reached for a comment when contacted yesterday.

The new FSLGV kicks off on the 27th of this month.
