Footballer finds solace in music

Ronald Chaudhary, a name synonymous with football and championships has taken a swing at singing.

He says he has always been fascinated by reggae music while growing up in Fiji.

Inspired by local Fiji Bands, Rootstrata and Exodus in the 80s, the love for music only grew and years on he is living it.

"My kids gifted me a karaoke system as a Christmas present in 2015. It's what motivated me to do voice over music", he said.

"It's all about practicing and trying out new stuffs at home and with friends sometimes".

Chaudhary has written a song about his footballing career and recorded it and that was the beginning of his music journey.

Apart from reggae songs, he is trying out Hindi numbers and is getting in the entertainment groove and soon on stages near you.

"Singing is definitely becoming a passion".
