Soccer legend calls Nadi a quit Soccer legend calls Nadi a quit Fiji soccer legend, Ivor Evans has abandoned Nadi Masters and penned a deal with Naita FC for the new season.


Speaking to Sportone, Evans said the move stemmed after some serious talks with the Naita FC organization.

 

"I have made my intentions clear to Nadi about the move", he said.

 

"The decision was easy and for the better".

 

The former Vancouver Whitecaps sensation has had a 2 year stint with Nadi, added while he enjoyed his stay with the ‘Green Machine ’change is always good.

 

“It’s all about greener pastures so to speak”, quipped Evans.

Evans, who was also the coach of the side for the two years, will only focus on playing for his new club.

Under Evans Nadi finished second to Navua in the 2013 league standings and fourth in 2014. Nadi also won the 2014 Knockout championship with the influential great one.

He was part of the team that won last year’s Inter District Championship.

“I wish Nadi all the best for the 2015 season”.

Naita FC is a far better run org, than the Fijian League..Good on Ivor..
