And to avoid the embarrassment of being carried off in handcuffs people are advised to abstain from the use of alcohol in or around the Newton Athletic Park perimeter, the venue for the Inter District Championship and the Fiji Day Celebrations.

Nair says zero tolerance on the consumption of liquor has been placed during the two day tournament.

"We want a clean tournament far from chaos and drama", he said.

"Fijian Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama will be the guest of honour for the IDC and the Fiji Day Celebrations at the weekend and we are duty bound for the crowed control.

"We're working very closely with the Surrey RCMP and the security. It's all about being vigilant".

Nair said various levels of security measures will also be put in place and certain areas will be cordoned off around by the Newton Athletic Park.

FDC chairman Dr Netani Gucake says Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama's security is their top priority.

“We’ve the PM covered”.

He however reminds the public that they will get to meet the man they consider as Fiji’s liberator.

“The people’s leader will meet his fellow Fijians", Dr Gucake added.
