The debutants most recent success has motivated them to pose a legitimate threat during the 2015 NAFSA championship.

Coach Subarmani Reddy says the players are looking at the upcoming tournament with a lot of optimism.

"The players are all psyched up for the NAFSA tournament", said Reddy, the mentor who guided the team to win its first major tournament.

"IDC win has energized the players. They are giving their all in preparedness for NAFSA, the Mecca of all tournaments.

“The commitment level has never before been so good, this following the triumphant first ever IDC win. We have full team training and with no injuries”.

Ready says he has a good three weeks to work on the fitness and strategy.

“We have a good three weeks to get in shape and work on the game plan”, Reddy said.

Nasinu beat a star-spiked Labasa Masters 4-3 in the shootout to win the grand finale.

Labasa had the former Fijian and Vancouver Whitecaps soccer great Ivor Evans and a whole host of yesteryear standouts.
