Nancy, the psychic parrotNancy, the psychic parrotNANCY the psychic parrot has predicted Lautoka will beat Ba and win the 2017 Inter District Championship.

The perdition couldn't have come at a better time as the host district is looking  to end its nine-year IDC drought with a lot of optimism, the last time they won the prestigious title was in 2008.

Nancy's owner Lawrence Sen said Nancy has made several on the dot predictions in the last few years including Vancouver Whitecaps latest play-off run.

He said Nancy had successfully predicted the outcome of Rewa's Battle of Giants and the Fiji FACT Championships.

The IDC prediction was made on the behest of local footballing fans.

"My close circle of friends have sought Nancy's help to predict the 2017 IDC winner as in the past they have had her predict their weekend fixtures correctly on soccer, rugby and hockey".

"So far Nancy has been 100 percent with her predictions.

"People may think I'm crazy but if they can believe in an octopus and an elephant why can't they believe in a bird's instinct", said Lawrence.

He said Nancy the psychic is African grey breed, very intelligent and good at talking.

If Nancy's prediction turns out to be true than the 'Blues' will spring in the smiles to the thousands of cheering district fans on Sunday.

The 2017 IDC champion will be crowned after Sunday's grand finale at Lautoka's Churchill Park.
