Rewa has been  hot on heals since the season opener and following their FSLGV Cup victory a week Sunday, Rewa is on a binge destined to capture its first league title.

They outplayed Ba in all facets of the game and pounced on every opportunity that was available as Ba stayed in their defensive shell, content to allow Rewa dance and attack.

Midfielder Ronald Chaudhary begged a hat trick, while striker Iqbal Khan and defender Steven Raj potted a pair.

Rewa Football Association president Vijay Nandan (Rabuka) holds unity as the contributing factor to his side’s success.

“Our success is attributed to unity. There’s all to it,” Nandan said.

“We’re one huge family on and off the field. Respect is the benchmark, no less.

He said everyone on the team looks up to one another.

“It’s all about retuning compliments, no talk downs”.

Rewa has been riding a six game winning high and if performance is anything to go by then definitely the 2012 FSLGV League title is within reach.

“We’ll keep the same intensity to the end. League is what we’ve set our sights on.” "It’ll be some feat laying the hands on that piece of hardware.”

League leaders Navua; though hold a clear three point’s lead over Rewa after midweek win against Ba.

The two sides have been in loggerheads over the 2012 FSLGV National League crown.

The pivotal match up is not scheduled till the end of the month.
