BREA Investments Nadi will be all out to defend the Inter District Championship title at Newton Athletic Park at the weekend.

Coach Ivor Evans says Nadi is ready to unleash its prowess to win the back - to- back title.

“We'll give it all to retain the Inter District Championship,” Evans told Sports 1.

"The players are all upbeat and ready to face the challenge.

"We also want to give our president an ideal Summer gift”.

President Saiyas Omar Khan has arbitrarily taken a leave of absence citing personal reasons.

Khan has extended his good wishes to the player and the management.

"I'm away but my prayer as always is with the Nadi organization. I have confidence in the quality players and I wouldn't second guess their potential" said Khan.

"I have an unerring faith in the side.”

The 2011 champions verse Ba in its opening game and Evans will name his strongest possible line-up before the kick off.

“I’ve quite the talent in the squad that could make up the best eleven,” Evans said.

“Ba has always been a good side and we can’t take them lightly. It would be a thriller match".

Evans paid tribute to BREA Investments for stepping forward as Nadi’s major sponsor for the 2012 IDC tournament.

Pool A: Nadi, Ba, Suva and Nadroga. Pool B: Labasa, Rewa, Nasinu and Naita.
