Youngster becomes social media sensation for remix songs

Remix sensation, DJ LaiA YOUNG singer has become a social media sensation after his remix video clip was posted on a popular Fijian football Facebook.

DJ Lai remix, as he identified himself, had song posted on Rewa Football Facebook page on Sunday.

And as of Tuesday, the trend garnered over 190,000 views, 1000 shares, 9000 likes and thousands of comments.

In a message to Sportsone, an administrator of the page has claimed the authenticity of the video clip circulating on Facebook.

He admitted the youngster is from Lautoka.

Lai accompanied the team on route to the first leg match of the OFC Champions League against Lautoka.

Lai’s heart-on-his-sleeves lyrics, and transition, I-taukei to English and Hindi was captivating.

The aspiring singer has become a social media heartthrob.

He made the footballers and followers swoon over his choice of songs.

Rewa sang and danced to the tune and clinched the two-legged series after beating Lautoka 5-1 on aggregate to become Fiji representatives for the 2022 OFC Champions League.
