Fans predict Fiji win in Tokyo Fans predict Fiji win in Tokyo The patrons of a popular New Zealand Fijian social club have quite the change of heart, a first in support of Fiji 7s side.

The members of Auckland's Garage 5 believe their former countrymen after its day 1 performance in Japan Sevens is likely to hit the podium on the final day.

They say New Zealand, their countrymen has a young side that is building for Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil and has a slim chance of claiming the championship.

Former Lautoka soccer player, Rajnesh Kumar, who is Fiji 7s ardent and a club regular, says Fiji will defend the Japan 7s with pure ease.

"Fiji is on the roll. With day one over Fiji will be well rested come tomorrow for the final showdown", he said.

Shafeel Akthar is of the understanding that coach Ben Ryan is the reason behind Fiji's sudden success.

He said Ryan prepares the mentally game in and out.

"Fiji is up there now all they have to do is maintain its form to win the Japan 7s".

Ifraz Ali says Fiji is the most successful team in Japan and if current form is anything to go by then come tomorrow they will not only win the Japan 7s but will lead on the IRB standing.

"Home is where the heart is ", said Ali. "Fiji is on a high. It's theirs to win".
