MUSTAFA Mohammed has put pen to paper on a one year contract with TFA of the United Arab Emirates Professional Football League.
The 18-year old turned heads during a month-long trial with the TFA-EPC in Dubai.
The signing comes after the impressive preseason games, the contract is optional for another year. The financial terms were not made available.
The former Brisbane Roar Academy footballer was a member of the Junior Bula Boys U20 team.
Mustafa withdrew after a fallout with coach Ronil Lal, who played favouritism over talent and skills.
The Junior Bula boys suffered heavy defeats in their second ever appearance at a FIFA U-20 World Cup with a 9-0 loss to Ecuador, 4-0 defeat by Slovakia and a 3-0 loss to the USA.
Mustafa is ecstatic about joining the TFA -EPC that has the best facilities, great coaching, strength and conditioning coaches and nutritionist in the world.
“Great club, amazing atmosphere with quality footballers,” he said.
Mustafa said the aim of TFA-EPC is to open a pathway to overseas and the United Kingdom.
“My dream is to play in the UK in the future.
“I like to thank TFA-EPC and Talentlocker for this amazing opportunity.”
