Former Fiji 7s captain praises fundraiserFormer Fiji 7s captain praises fundraiserKALIONE Nasoko was given a warm reception during a fundraiser in Surrey last night.

The former Fijian men's 7s captain was the honorary guest on the behest of the Vancouver 7s Fiji Fan Base, the hosts of the event.

Nasoko thanked the sold-out audience for supporting the team.

“A big Bula to you all tonight.

“Appreciate your support for the team. It makes me feel proud that you all are here for the fundraiser”.

He said the team will do their best to win the Vancouver Sevens.

“We will try to defend the Olympic gold coming up".

Nasoko thanked the organizers for continued support.

The eventful night culminated with Nasoko meeting and greeting with the fans.

Nasoko is yet to make his full team return as he is still recuperating from a surgery to repair anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).

Proceeds from last night’s fundraiser will be distributed to the players and management during the Canada Sevens in March.
