HE’S a rugby sevens star but described as very ordinary and down to earth person.
And during a community visit last night he won many hearts.
Kalione Nosoko was a guest to Fiji Village Club in Surrey, the members who are sevens diehard said it didn’t seem like they were in a company of one of Fiji 7s best players.
Shamim Khan, a club member said the members shared light moments with Nasoko, who was very down to earth and humble.
“Great personality. We definitely had a star power in the house”, said Khan.
Khan added that it was a rare opportunity for everyone to meet Nasoko, the closest they come to catch a glimpse is on TV., during HSBC World Sevens Series or at Vancouver Sevens.
“How often do we get to meet world’s best and finest sevens players and that up-close.
“He talked about Fiji 7 team, their LA and Vancouver Sevens, the Olympics and the injury that kept him away form being a part of the team".
Nasoko thanked the Fiji Village Club for making him feel home and giving him all the respect.
“Vinaka Vakalevu, (Thank you), for the warm reception, dinner and entertainment”, he said.
Nasoko leaves for LA tomorrow to provide the moral support to his teammates during the inaugural LA Sevens at the weekend.
