All you need to do is dress up and get noticed says Jagat Singh, competitions director with Sunnyside Building Services.

“Dress up to win”, he said.

“Whatever with a Fijian touch to it”.

The dress up competition concept is in a partnership with Edmonton, Alberta company Sunnyside Building Services and Surrey’s S1 media group.

“The competition is for Fijians only. All one, and or the group has to do is to dress or drape in their unique costumes and win the $3000”.

“$1500, a day”.

Singh said fans dress up in ways to support Fiji, added it’s just taking it to the next level that could easily win them cash prize.

“Kick it up a notch to the already a costume frenzy event”.

“We’re giving diehards and true patriots a reason to show their love and adulation to Fiji in the way of costumes and attires that fit the ‘Island nation theme”, said Subarmani Reddy, the S1 media spokesman.

Reddy said the partnership is attractive for the first year with likely increments to come in the years’ ahead.

He said the winner(s) will be identified in the stands, concourse and through overhead Jumbotron.

The weekend long, March 7-8, tournament gets underway on Saturday, ending with the crowning of the champion on Sunday.
