Dress uo to win a cool $1000THE fancy costume competition is back during the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Vancouver 7s.

And the best attire will win someone $1000.

“We've had the chance to witness an astounding array of traditional costumes and fancy dresses worn by Fijians in the past,” said event sponsor Jake Singh.

“And with the growing popularity we decided to make a yearly event, encouraging fans to dress up to win the cash again this year.”

Sunnyside Building Maintenance first sponsored the fancy costume competition in 2018 and since then it has become popular among Fijians, who look to the event with a lot of optimism.

“We will get to see some truly sensational outfits again this year.”

Jake said fans will be identified through the Jumbotron screen and the stadium concourse.

“We have spotters who would identify the best dressed up, individual and groups to win the competition.

“There’s just a general category, so be at your best to claim the prize money”.

The winner will be announced on Sunday.
