Roti on the go for Fiji 7s team

The 'roti girl' Sharlin UgraSHARLIN Ugra is again looking forward to serving the Fiji Airways men’s 7s team with her ‘fish and roti’ delicacy.

Affably known as the ‘roti girl’, Sharlin said she would continue on with the tradition she started in 2018.

This year though is a trade off, championship to go with the treat, she quipped.

“Out of love for the team I do what I do, as always I provide the takeout on the completion of the tournament,” said the Vancouverite, who is a passionate sevens fan.

“I’m being mindful of the situation the team is in now.

“Diets training and conditioning for professional athletes is important so I will hold it up until the completion of the tournament.

“Got to get the tradition going.”

Sharlin said she had always run her offerings by the management and on their behest arranged the delivery.

“I work with the management and the players, it’s just the way to go”.

Sharlin said she is providing the homemade delicacy in true Fijian spirit and good taste.
