The 2020 Tokyo Olympics winner was away from the international stage for quite some time due to a knee surgery.

Bolaca’s famous cliche ‘if you tired, don’t tired’ should motivate the players during the Canada Sevens.

He drove the message against player’s fatigue or lack of energy during the team’s quest to retain the Olympic gold.

And with 17 straight tournament losses, the team needs all the more energy and motivation to end the streak and there’s no better player to work the bunch than Bolaca, who have found his teammates to be at sixes and sevens so far in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.

Bolaca, who earned a repertoire for his witty jokes and catch phrases during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, should kick start a new beginning for head coach Ben Gollings.

Gollings has come under the spotlight for the team’s winless run, and there’ve been calls for his firing.

The team needs to step up or it wouldn’t be long before Gollings will be made to step out.

Bolaca’s vivacious nature coupled with his rugby prowess should bring about the best in the team and save the coaches’ job.
