True rugby fan passes away

KINISIMERE Rabulugaga, affably known as Bu Kini, passed away at the age of 87.

The flag draped rugby diehard proudly displayed her loyalty and Fiji took her as the game’s biggest fan.

For she was no ordinary fan of the sport, Bu Kini carried the joy of the battlefield on her back.

With her feisty reputation, she would meet and greet the team on arrival following overseas tours.

Every occasion told a story of Kini’s unerring dedication and the warmth she extended to players and Fijians worldwide.

For her, rugby was about good times, hope and glory.

And while tributes are pouring in from all over the globe, on Facebook and Twitter, let’s glorify the beloved who displayed national pride.

Bu Kini lived up to the billing as a true daughter of Fiji.
