VANCOUVER Legends fell short in the final of the TISI Centennial Celebrations tournament, going down 1–0 to Auckland Legends at Kings Charles Park.
The match was decided in the first half following a foul by Bijendra Naidu inside the penalty area, which resulted in the decisive goal.
That moment ultimately proved to be the difference in what was otherwise a tightly contested encounter.
Despite the defeat, the Canadian side enjoyed an impressive run throughout the tournament.
Vancouver Legends were among the standout teams of the tournament.
Their overall campaign reflected consistency, discipline, and strong team structure.
In the end, a single lapse in the final denied them the championship.
Individually, Muni Goundar was recognized as the tournament’s Best Player, while Edwin Ruth claimed the Golden Glove award.
Vancouver Legends also earned the Best Discipline Team award, capping off a commendable tournament performance despite falling short of the title.
