Vimal Sami has damned the Vodafone Ba soccer coach Yogendra Dutt’s lack of technical ability during the two legged OFC Champions League semi-final against Amicale FC.
The former district starlet said Yogendra must alone shoulder Ba’s loss.
“Yogendra sat young players on the bench in the all too important home opener”, he said.
“We had players but the coach chose to include name players in his starting line -up who were past their prime”.
Sami questioned Yogen’s coaching abilities added he only made a name because Ba’s got talent.
“Yogendra was not born great but walked into greatness.I’m saying this because I know soccer”.
The exquisite left foot said while the team played well in the pool games, they weren’t able to maintain the same rhythm and level of concentration in the knockout stages.
“After the 2-1 home opener loss the team failed to up its game.
“With Ba you just can’t rest on your laurels. You’ve to show up”.
Sami says the away performance suggests the team picked up the same play where they had left off at home.
“Ba didn’t play well in either of their games. They weren’t playing their game, they weren’t themselves”,
Sami admitted the team didn’t measure up to its opponents tatics and technical lace.
