FIJI Airways 7s team is just a quarterfinal win away from clinching the 2017-2018 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.
The Paris Sevens is what it all comes down too, the last tournament of the ten-leg series is expected to be a cracker.
Fiji has a 7-point lead (167) over reigning champions, South Africa (160) on the leader’s board.
The battle for supremacy will be fierce says Shafeel Sahib, the Delta resident.
“All Fiji needs is to qualify for cup quarterfinal and win for maximum points.
“And If Fiji fails to qualify and South Africa goes on to qualify and win its cup quarterfinal they clinch the overall series”.
Sahib said he doesn’t believe in hypothetical.
He says Fiji understands the position they’re in and what needs to done to cement the series.
Sahib is among thousands oozing with confidence that Fiji will leave no stones unturned at the Paris Sevens and go onto claim what would be their five successive win of the series.
