MORAL and spiritual support is needed for Fiji Airways Men’s 7s team during the HSBC Sevens World Series Canada Sevens this weekend.
These words were echoed by Pastor Isimeli Lesi Korobasaga.
“We need to give both the moral and spiritual support to our boys”, he said.
“God first in anything we do as in rugby and life”.
Pastor Lesi is calling on the Canadian Fijians who will be at the B.C. Place Stadium or at home to pray for the team and cheer on with all the heart.
“Let’s all pray for the team. The boys have always put God first”.
He said the team didn’t do too well at the USA Sevens in Las Vegas last weekend but there’s always that hope the team will turn things around for the better and retain the Canada Sevens.
“We need to understand the power of prayers”, said Lesi.
