Flying Fijian win against Georgia, their first game of RWCFLYING FIJIANS fans are riding high horse following the team’s 45-10 win against Georgia at Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Osaka, Japan.

The first win had the hundreds celebrate as the team played impressive rugby much to the delight of the coaching staffs and the fans world over.

Fiji were humbled by Uruguay in their last outing albeit after only a four-day rest following the loss to Australia – but the backs, who scored five of their seven tries, ruthlessly took Georgia apart after the interval.

“This was Fiji at its best”, said Jake Singh, who had lost all hope on the team following Australia and Uruguay loss.

Singh said coach John McKee was put in spotlight for making 12 changes for the Uruguay match that Fiji lost.

“The end result speaks about the preparations the team had for the Georgia game. Everyone stepped up and played for each other”.

Sam Ali said Fiji needed the bump, ‘they got it’ by beating Georgia to take its last and final match against Wales.

“With the performance the team goes tails-up against Wales”.

Waisea Nayacalevu put Fiji up in the first half.

Frank Lomani, Josua Tuisova, Semi Kunatani, Api Ratuniyarawa and two from Semi Radradra gave Fiji a bonus-point win.

Mamuka Gorgodze got a consolation for Georgia.
