FIJI Airways Fijian men’s 7s team were guests to Fiji’s Honorary Consul of Canada, Bobby Naicker.
Naicker welcomed the team, who were later treated with a fine Canadian cuisine at Vancouver’s popular eatery Denny’s on Broadway.
Naicker said the team continues to proud its people around the world and it is always an honor to have them as guests.
“It is really my great privilege to host the Fijian 7s team”, Naicker said.
“It’s always an honor.
“This team shows the world what sevens rugby means to us and the fact hosting the best team in the world in Vancouver is my absolute pleasure “
Naicker said the team missed-out in the LA 7s leg last weekend but is confident they will bounce back at the BC Place Stadium in Vancouver.
“The truth is, we have a great coach, an entire team filled with heart and skill, hope and courage, passion and strength and great fans support”, he added.
