NADI and Tanoa FC midfielder Javid Khan has been named Sportsone footballer of the decade.
The Fijian football exponent won the accolade based on the votes garnered between October-December 2020.
The 30-year old made a successful career since breaking into the district team, winning a treble, Inter District championships, 2011-2012-2013 and backed it with a double in 2016 -2017.
Khan debuted for Eagles FC, in 2006, and in 2007 won his first major tournament, the IDC.
He was a key part of the team that again won in 2008 and 2009, registering a treble first IDC, victory.
Khan won the Premier League with Tanoa FC in 2014 and 2016 and with Flagstaff FC in 2015.
In 2007, Khan had a tryout with Watford FC in the FA Premier League.
He though signed a 3-year contract, 2008-2011 with third division Wealdstone FC.
His Nadi district and TFC, teammate Rylan Sangha was second and Rocket Ismail was third on votes.
