FOOTBALLERS For Humanity group has made a cash donation of $10,000 to the Cyclone Yasa affected victims on Vanua Levu in Fiji.
The money was raise through the kind contributions of former Fijian footballers and friends.
FFH, coordinator Mohammed Yusuf said the money was e-wired to Fiji yesterday.
“The fund was received and it would be given out to the dire needy starting today”.
Yusuf said he is thankful to the group members and friends for their generosity.
“There is a deep and sad situation in Vanua Levu, the coastal areas and the smaller Islands, one that’s close to our hearts”.
“It is only a small help, but one that goes a long way for those who are in need. We all need to come together”, he added.
