FIJI Airways Men’s 7s team bamboozled Kenya 36-12 in their opening game of the HSBC Canada Sevens.
Sevuloni Mocenacagi scored the first try on a fly, while Alasio Naduva scored a brace for a 17-0 first half win before heading into the break.
Jerry Tuwai, Terio Veilawa and Mocenacagi scored a try each in the second for the win.
Kenya’s Johnstone Olindi and Vincent Onyala scored a try each for their side.
Head coach Gareth Baber said Kenya game is out of the way and focus now is on Canada and Samoa.
“First game is out of the way”, he said.
“We will elevate our game here on, focus is on Canada and Samoa”.
Fiji plays Canada at 2.08 and Samoa in its last pool game at 6.02 Canadian time.
